The "Old Lead" Project" Swordmaiden From Ral Partha, Circa 1980s

OK, so I originally finished up this model in the late 1980s, I can tell because I stopped doing my bases like that around 1990-ish. So I went ahead and stripped the paint to give her more of a steel armor rather than silver, and give her and appropriately brown skin tone rather than the lighter one I originally associated with.

    Nice work on the repaint! Armour always looks better in darker metallics. Her skin tones are great.

Ok, so the Las Vegas Wargamers group on FaceBook had a modelling challenge for June: create something for wargaming out of an old computer mouse. Originally the brief was "tank" but it was pointed out that a lot of different things could be done with a mouse for wargaming. And so it began. In the end only three of us finished up by the June 30 deadline, so I thought I'd share what was presented. To start, Daniel Liswood created a Victorian Science Fiction sky chariot. I thought this was wonderfully creative. Scooby-Doo And Mystery Inc

OK, so I finally finished up Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Inc. kids. I'll have to get around to detailing the Happy Meal-provided Mystery Machine at some point. I am not entirely sure of where the models came from. An online acquaintance had them when I asked about sources a few years ago. They are all Clix figures that have been repainted and in some cases converted. Except Scrappy Doo, he is the small dog that is included with the Perry Miniatures plastic British colonial troops.
